Application
The GRINDEX suction filter is designed for use in all dry grinding and tool sharpening operations and where there is a possibility of airborne transmission of incandescent particles, which can damage the filters.
 

Fire installation safety
Thanks to the pre-separator water system, any sparks in the air are extinguished before they come into contact with the filter. This prevents damage to the filter material and fire hazard. This system also prevents clogging of the filter pockets. Thus, the working efficiency of the filters is always high.
 

Maintenance of the filter unit
GRINDEX comes with a manual mechanical filter shaking device to maintain the efficiency levels of the filters. The filter section can be easily removed from the Grindex without the need to use any tools or wrenches. This allows the filters to be thoroughly cleaned after long periods of use.
 

Min. external dimensions
GRINDEX devices can be easily placed in laboratories or in spaces next to the machine, as the large surface bag filter structure takes up less space than cylindrical filters and is compact.
 

Energy savings
The extracted air can be returned to the working area. This saves considerable energy in winter. Reduction in operating costs is also achieved by using a high efficiency fan.
 

Very low sound level
The GRINDEX filter device has been developed in such a way that it does not cause acoustic pollution problems. Grindex operates at a low noise level of 70 dBa. The sound absorbing plenum can also be used for special applications.
 

High filtration efficiency
The special high permeability polyester material from which the filter pockets are made ensures longer lifetime and better filtration efficiency (up to 95%). Lower pressure loss compared to conventional filter materials. GRINDEX filtration efficiency for special applications is up to 99.99%.
