Silencers

Silencers are used to reduce sound levels in ducts, switchboards and device outputs. Galvanized sheet metal, glass wool filling (50 kg/m3), fiberglass, perforated sheet metal etc. materials are used in silencer manufacturing.
Silencers can be produced in two types: rectangular and round. Rectangular silencers provide more sound absorption than round silencers.
Sound pressure (dB) is determined by measuring instruments. The A-weighted average is mostly used in ventilation work. The unit for A-weighted average is dBA.
